My name is Diana Olvera.

I was born and raised in Mexico City and lived there for 23 years. In 2012, I did a study abroad exchange in Europe, and at that moment, I realized how well I merged with foreign cultures. I felt more comfortable than in my own birth country, even though I love the warmth and folkloric aspects of Mexico.

In 2017, I moved near the ocean to Playa del Carmen. I didn’t know exactly why I felt so connected to the sea and why I needed to be near nature until I discovered that I am a Pisces Ascendant with a Moon in the same sign. My need to feel a connection at a soul level with my surroundings has been the story of my life.

I have a stellium in Sagittarius in the 9th house. As a Sagittarius Sun, I’ve always wanted to explore, move, and discover what else the world has to offer. I constantly experience new approaches to life and create my criteria for every life situation.

I first encountered astrology at a young age, when I bought my first tiny pocketbook that explained the basics. The second time was in 2019, after a severe diving injury. Nothing about the situation made sense, so I revisited astrology and examined my transits to gain clarity. It helped more than I expected.

I believe you are more than just one thing in your life story. We are often taught that our professional career defines our identity, but the truth is that we are far more than something linear.

I’ve spent most of my life as a photographer/content creator, but I’ve always felt that what I choose to do with my profession must carry a meaningful, calling.
